		<description>This is terrible news for anyone who knew Ben and Fran.  Ben was my mentor in the mid-70&#039;s, and I would not have become a translator without his help and encouragement. 
Besides being a translator and a theater aficionado, he was a kind and generous human being with a nimble mind.  What a loss.
